Time To Train

Treat every second you spend in the gym like it’s the most valuable hour of your life. Every rep, run, jump or throw should the best you can give on that day. Over the past year I’ve made some huge changes with how I do a lot of things. Running a growing business showed me that time is truly the most valuable thing we have, and ultimately we have absolutely no control over it. Regardless of what we choose to do, it just keeps on ticking.

CrossFit taught me a lot about what to do with my time. The workouts are designed to be done FAST and as heavy as your ability allows. This means that in just 15 minutes you can be absolutely spent with nothing else to give. That to me is pure potency, and the more potent it is, the better I feel.

Training does not have to be a long effort. Sure, getting outside and running a trail can be good fun and awesome for refreshing yourself, but these long efforts are unnecessary for your fitness. You can spend just 15 minutes on your cardio, training with intensity and get better results than anyone going out for a long slow jog. Intensity is truly what get’s you exactly what you want..

Treat every second you spend in the gym like it’s the most valuable hour of your life. Every rep, run, jump or throw should the best you can give on that day. Never hold back, put your fears aside and throw yourself in. Contribute to YOU and earn what YOU want by the efforts YOU put in. If after your workout you want more work to do ask yourself this, “did I go hard enough?”. You don’t deserve half efforts from anyone, so don’t give yourself anything but 100%.

Above all remember that even the best efforts don’t always feel awesome, but it doesn’t have to be perfect, it just needs to get done.
